(2:00 pm) Learn Adobe Photoshop for Beginners – Computer Center I (CC1)

A free hands on class for beginners that focuses on the use and understanding of Photoshop’s layers palette. Bring your own computer with Photoshop installed, trial versions work. www.facebook.com/UCFTechCommons

(4:30 pm ) National Association of Black Accountants Presents Pershing - Student Union (STUN)

Come and join us at NABA for our last meeting of the semester with representatives from Pershing. The National Association of Black Accountants is an organization dedicated to developing its members professionally. We provide many opportunities for our members (scholarships, internships, etc). NABA meetings usually feature a guest speaker that educates our members on various business topics and opportunities. All business majors students are welcome to come!!!

(5:00 pm)  Centric Magazine Launch Party – Student Union (SU) Pegasus Ballroom

Centric Magazine will be holding it’s Fall 2012 launch party Monday, Nov. 19 in the Pegasus Ballroom from 5-8 p.m. The UCF Glee Club and Rukus dance group will perform. There will also be a DJ, food from Franks and Steins and Dive Bar of downtown Orlando, and of course the opportunity to be one of the first to receive a copy of the Fall 2012 issue of Centric. Centric is 100% created by students in the Magazine Editing & Production class.

(12:00 pm) Peace Corps Information Session Career Services - Experiential Learning (CSEL)

Peace Corps service is the opportunity of a lifetime and offers two years of international experience immediately upon graduation. Join me to learn about Volunteer experiences, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process.

(3:00 pm)  Catch Your Breath UCF : How to Promote a Smoke-Free Campus – Recreation & Wellness Center (RWC)

Join us for this presentation on UCF’s Smoke-Free initiative. Learn more about the policy and where it applies, how to promote the policy with others, and all the campus and community resources available to help students, faculty and staff quit smoking.

(4:00 pm)  Peace Corps Movie and Discussion – Library (LR)

Join us to learn what a day in the life of a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal is like. We will be watching an hour long documentary, followed up by discussion and a Q&A session on the Peace Corps.

(5:15 pm)  Weight Watchers’ HR

Weight Watchers’ is now closer to you than you think. UCF/Human Resources in cooperation with Weight Watchers is bringing a regular weekly Weight Watchers’ Meeting to the UCF Community every Tuesday in the Human Resources Department, Innovative Center, 3280 Progress Drive, Suite 100. Weigh in begins at 5:15pm and meeting are 5:45pm to 6:15pm. At meetings, you’ll find out all the latest information on eating right and living healthy. You’ll get the guidance you need to succeed and stay on track. With a convenient location at UCF/HR and pricing that fits your budget, now might be a good time to check out the meetings.
